Terms of Service

What CoreUnit does

CoreUnit connects people who need finishing, renovation and home-maintenance services with verified companies, engineers and contractors.

CoreUnit is not a party to any agreement between you and a professional, does not carry out the work itself, and does not guarantee prices, timing or quality.

Your account

• Your details must be accurate, and the account is for you alone.
• Your mobile number must be confirmed with a code before your first request, because companies pay to reach you on it.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe. Tell us at once if someone else uses your account.

For customers

• Sending a request is free.
• When you send a request, verified professionals serving your service and area see it without your contact details. Up to 4 professionals may buy it; they then see your name, phone, address, notes and photos so they can contact you.
• The estimated cost in the survey is an indication, not a quote or an engineering bill of quantities.
• Any agreement on price and work is directly between you and the professional.

For professionals

• Your business must be verified and approved by the CoreUnit team before you can see or buy requests.
• Buying a request is paid from your prepaid wallet. The price is shown before you confirm, is charged once, and you cannot buy the same request twice.
• Wallet top-ups are made by InstaPay or e-wallet transfer. The CoreUnit team checks and confirms each transfer before the balance is added; a reference number or receipt is not final proof of payment.
• If a request you bought has a problem (for example the customer cannot be reached, or it is not genuine), report it. CoreUnit reviews reports and may refund the price to your wallet at its discretion.
• Use customers’ details only to contact them about their request.

Reviews

Reviews must be genuine and based on real experience. The CoreUnit team checks them before publishing and may hide any review that breaks these rules.

Not allowed

• Sending fake requests, or using phone numbers that are not yours.
• Using customers’ details for anything other than their request, or sharing them with others.
• Trying to access data or accounts that are not yours, or disrupting the platform.

Suspension

We may suspend or close any account that breaks these terms, and tell its owner why.

Limitation of liability

CoreUnit provides the platform "as is". To the extent the law allows, CoreUnit is not liable for any damage arising from work agreed between a customer and a professional.

Changes and governing law

We may change these terms; we will update the "last updated" date and ask for your consent again if a change is material. These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
